We are a network of independent movers
in one single group chat.
Each of us carry hundreds of five star reviews.
It’s like filtering the best of austin
and still be cheaper than most moving companies.
“Okay, but who is like in charge"?”

I go by “Hoss” like the avocado.
My mission with Truckbed Moving is to take my group of mover friends and decouple off job connecting services like TaskRabbit/Thumbtack and become our own moving market.
I see us as your go to friendly pickup truck moving service on demand, meaning we can serve you same day when a mover is available.
Faster, 5 star movers only, pro service from start to finish.
ORIGIN STORY
I have worked on TaskRabbit since 2019 and I’ve completed over 1400 verified moving jobs since then.
In 2022 I financed my first truck, a 2017 F150 supercab. It just means my truckbed is extended; Normally, they’re close to 6 ft but mine is close to 7 ft of truckbed space from back cab window to tailgate.
I have learned a lot about myself, my work ethic, my professionalism evolving as I prove to satisfy my clients when they need help the most.
Since IKEA purchased Taskrabbit in 2017 for mid hundred million dollars, app policy has gone downhill.
The app charges my clients between 41-48% extra on top of my hourly rate I and I get to see none of that.
Very soon, policy is coming in to where the app picks a mover and their rate for you instead of the traditional “ free market” style it is today where you as a client chooses a mover based on a scroll down list of bio profiles and everyone has their own rates.
When that happens, they’re goes our mover rights to charge the price we deserve.
Austin is not getting any colder soon.
It’s “fry-your-egg-on-your-car-dashboard” season.
Jan-Feb is just foreplay; by May we’re already in the 100s.
Those couches on the 3rd story apartment with no elevator in 105 degrees aren’t going to move themselves.
So why should we lose our right to charge the price we deserve, not see that 48% fee and adhere to their controlling automated algorithm that dictates what movers are shown first in the app the way it is now?
Rise of group chat
Year after year working the Austin Texas Summer you come across other top-notch movers who like me, know how to exceed expectations.
It’s not about how fast and strong you are in moving, it’s about getting the job done in the safest, most efficient way possible using the least amount of brute strength( aka dolly is your best friend).
Slowly, I gathered a squadron of mover friends who I consistently enjoyed working with and we both were able to charge premium prices and a job well done every single time.
Every other moving job required 2 guys so I am constantly hitting up these friends to be my second.
One day, I decided why not get these guys in one iMessage group chat so that we can coordinate moving jobs easier, keep the circle tight and we make more revenue?
Tasker’s Guild was born.
The group chat is 32+ verified 5 star movers located all over Austin and surrounding area.
We primarily work off Taskrabbit but otherwise have our own network of clientele.
Altogether we’ve performed 10,000s of moving jobs as well as other related handyman skills such as:
- Furniture Assembly
- Hanging & TV Mounting
- Junk Removal
- Landscaping
- Electrical/ Home Setup
Because of this group chat, my guys and myself have made $1,000s/month and more all while providing superior moving service.
Moving jobs get messy very easily, especially last minute.
My group chat gives me a support defense for last minute on-call backup help.
