Are you a traditional moving company?

No, we are not.

We’re better.

Traditionally, moving companies want to charge $400-500 minimums just to get started and can easily add more fees and other surprises for the final invoice.

They come with a 20+ footer box truck, a moving crew working for mid $20s hourly rate so they will treat and provide subpar service with that mindset and will not be the same as any of my movers getting paid the full $70 hourly rate.

We do things differently:

We’re quick on our feet in providing usage of our pickup truck, tools and know-how.

We provide same-day availability within the hour.

We start with one hour minimums.

Every single Mover can be verified as an elite mover with hundreds of unique individual five star reviews.

We usually come in to save the day for our clients who originally booked with a moving truck company and they cancel on them last minute.

So we specialize in providing elite on demand moving help with the option to use our pickup trucks for those small-medium sized moves.

We leave the full house moves that could use a 26 footer to the bigger companies.

We handle what’s possible in our pickup truck and sometimes that’s all you need.

How does pricing work?

It starts at $70 an hour which gets you an experienced Mover not requiring a pickup truck.

Pickup truck movers start at $75 an hour.

We require one hour minimums.

Tips aren’t required but strongly recommend through cash/Zelle/Venmo etc.

The average job takes 1.5 hours so you can expect to pay a little over $100.

Compare that with $400 minimums for most traditional moving companies.

100% of the pay goes toward the mover.

Okay, i booked a mover. what can i expect from start to finish?

Congratulations, you just made the best decision of your life.

Just kidding. (Not really).

You should expect to get an automated text confirming the day and time and then in the next hour or two a personal text message from either the owner or appointed elite mover who will confirm with you the details and go over any possible challenges or extra details so that we can provide the best moving service possible.

We care the most about:

- Any stairs
- If it’s a king sized bed or not, elevators, parking situations( garages, steep hills, high traffic, difficult entry/exit, etc.)
- Complex walking routes
- Gate code access instructions
- Anything over 150 pounds
- Very specific items that need to be wrapped carefully
- If it’s wise to hire additional help

You will be in direct text/call communication with the assigned mover.

On moving day, expect the mover to arrive within 15 minutes more or less of the assigned starting time.

I word it like that explicitly to highlight we do our best to arrive on time but there will be days where we have multiple moves in a single day and the assigned mover will not truly know how long the previous job will take until hes close to finishing and may have to cover a long distance to get from their last job location to yours.

Truckbed Moving will do our best to arrive on time and will communicate clearly if there is any delay beforehand.

The mover completes the job for you.

Option to leave a review and a tip graciously received 100% to the assigned mover.

You will receive a final confirmation of the total invoice. I will not charge you until we both agree on the final charge that it looks good.

The card on file when originally booked will be charged.

I work with over 40+ movers and all of us are multi-skilled.

The vast majority of us also can do furniture assembly and junk removal.

- Electrical
- Painting
- House Cleaning
- Trailer Moving( Enclosed and open flat)
- Appliance delivery

Ask for pricing, my movers will communicate with you with a custom quote that varies mover to mover.

You may be invoiced on my platform or paid directly to the mover for a custom job.

Something came up. I need to cancel. How does cancelling my appointment work?

As soon as you’ve made up your mind on cancelling, please let us know ASAP.

No questions asked, free to cancel.

Ideally anytime before 11:59PM the night before.

If you decide to cancel on the day of the move, you will be charged a one hour fee.

Our movers have their schedule blocked just to accommodate for your job plus some buffer time before and after.

Cancelling means they will no longer be able to make money during that time in which they could’ve been booked with another client who is confirmed.

So, my movers miss out on getting paid.

No one likes to lose out on making money last second.

No questions asked, always free to cancel as long as it’s before the moving date.

You’ll find that’s an industry-wide standard and we upheld this too for good reason.
